Tom Carline

Tom is the founder and President of THC Associates, a human resources consulting firm specializing in all areas of compensation and organization. Clients span a broad spectrum of products, services and disciplines and are located nationwide. Specific areas of expertise include base compensation, individual and group incentives, executive compensation and salary structure design.

Prior to his founding of THC Associates, Tom was a senior consultant and principal with Price Waterhouse Coopers, Olanie, Hurst & Hemrich, a Los Angeles-based national consulting firm, and Hay Associates.

Before his consulting career, he held a series of management positions with a major manufacturer of automotive body hardware.

Tom has a B.A. degree in Economics from DePauw University and saw service in the Marine Corps in Korea, retiring as a Major in the USMCR.

His professional associations include World at Work and American Management Association. He has published articles on compensation and has made presentations to the American Electronics Association, American Compensation Association, Bay Area Compensation Association, Independent Bankers Association and the Optical Laboratories Association.

 

Kim McEachron

Kim McEachron brings decades of experience as a corporate executive and community leader to the Aligned Growth Partners, LLC Advisory Board. Kim is currently Senior Vice President Human Resources at Genomic Health, Inc., a molecular diagnostics company founded in August of 2000 and located in Redwood City, California. Genomic Health, Inc. is committed to improving the quality of cancer treatment decisions through the research, development and commercialization of genomic-based clinical laboratory services.

Before joining Genomic Health, Kim held senior executive leadership roles within Medtronic, Inc., the global leader in medical technology and pioneering life-changing technologies that improve the way chronic diseases are treated . Medtronic has been recognized as a global “Great Place to Work” and recently was awarded the 2011 Corporate Citizenship Award. The Cardiac & Vascular sector of Medtronic is the largest sector at Medtronic with over 13,000 employees world-wide.

Most recently with Medtronic, Kim served as Vice President Human Resources, Engagement and Inclusion and Vice President Human Resources for the Cardiac and Vascular division where she was responsible for implementation of culture and organization development, total rewards, diversity and inclusion strategy, talent management systems, leadership development and executive coaching. Earlier in her career with Medtronic, Kim was Vice President of Human Resources for Medtronic's CardioVascular and Neuromodulation divisions where her responsibilities included leading total rewards, talent acquisition and talent management, organization development and learning, employee relations, and diversity and inclusion. As a senior business leader, she contributed to the diversification and growth of the CardioVascular and Neuromodulation businesses by successfully integrating acquisitions and building capabilities to win in the market.

Kim earned a Master's degree in Industrial Relations from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Carleton College .

Kim is a former chair of the board and a current board member of the Sonoma County Volunteer Center. She holds membership in Human Resource People and Strategy (HPRS), the Northern California HR Strategy Forum, and the Association for Managers of Innovation (AMI). She was recognized for her corporate leadership in global diversity and inclusion at Medtronic in 2008 and 2010, and received the Women in Business Award from the North Bay Business Journal in 2003.
